What is a custom race suit?
A custom race suit is a fire-resistant driving suit built to your measurements and your design. FervoGear makes them from flame-resistant Nomex® meta-aramid, certified to SFI 3.2A/1 or SFI 3.2A/5, as one-piece, two-piece or jacket-only suits.
Unlike an off-the-rack suit, every color, panel, sponsor logo and stitch is your call, and the pattern is cut from your own numbers for comfort, movement and safety in the seat.

Real flame. Real Nomex®. No melt, no drip.
We held an open flame directly to the Nomex® fabric used in our fire suits. It charred where the flame touched, but it didn’t melt, drip or keep burning.

Pick your suit type, colors and logos in about 30 seconds. Your first mockup usually arrives within 24 hours.
02Approve your proof
Go through it with your designer and change anything you like until it looks right.
03Send measurements
Fill in the sizing form so the suit is cut to your body.
04Production
We build it, then send you photos of the finished suit before it ships.
05Delivery
UPS to your door, with tracking. Standard delivery is usually 5–6 weeks; expedited about 3.5 weeks when eligible, for an added fee.

After you approve your proof
Measure at home
- 01Wear form-fitting clothes. Underwear is best.
- 02Use a cloth tape close to the skin, and write down exact numbers.
- 03Measure in inches if you can.
Your suit is cut to the numbers you send, so take your time. FervoGear isn’t responsible for measurement errors.

Race suit guides01What if my suit doesn’t fit right?+
Contact customer service. They’ll review the sizing issue with you and work out the right solution.
02Can I return a custom suit?+
Every suit is made to order, so it can’t be returned or exchanged once production starts, except for a manufacturer defect. You can request a refund within 4 weeks of delivery; FervoGear’s audit team assesses each request and may give a full or partial refund. Alteration requests are accepted within 6 months. Details are in the returns policy.
03Do you ship outside the USA?+
Yes. Shipping is free within the contiguous U.S.; other destinations pay shipping, with fees and delivery times that depend on the country. International customers pay any import duties, taxes or fees.
04Can you make suits for my whole team?+
Yes, with matching colors, logos and sponsor placement. Bulk orders of suits, gloves, shoes, crew shirts and hoodies get discounts, and expedited production may be possible. Email support@customracesuit.com with the quantity, suit type, logos, deadline and SFI rating.
05What else should I wear with my suit?+
A suit is one part of your safety system. Add a rated helmet, fire-resistant gloves and racing shoes, fire-resistant long underwear and socks, a head sock or balaclava, and a neck collar.
06How do I wash my suit?+
Empty the pockets and close every zipper and Velcro strap. Fold it into a large delicate wash bag and wash it on a cold, delicate cycle with a mild detergent such as Woolite. Always hang it to dry. Never use the dryer.
07Can I order a standard size instead?+
Yes. If you don’t want a custom fit, pick your size from the standard size chart.
08How can I pay?+
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and PayPal, plus Affirm financing on qualifying orders.
09Do you sponsor racers?+
Yes. Sponsored athletes can get custom race suits, gear discounts and promotion through FervoGear’s marketing channels. To apply, email your racing résumé (background, results and upcoming schedule) to support@customracesuit.com.
10Can I become a dealer?+
